In ancient China, the interrelation between the teeth and organs were already recognized. Modern analytic methods have confirmed these connections.
Unfortunately, traditional western medicine often does not pay regard to the interrelations between teeth and organs.
For instance, dental diseases such as cavities or periodontosis are primarily considered after-effects of purely local damages, wether caused by poor hygiene or bad eating habits. For this reason, only the directly affected tooth is treated. It is left unrecognized that diseases- even dental diseases- should be seen only rarely as isolated and closed processes. Dental damages can, however, be caused by diseased organs. Naturopathic (holistic) dental medicine deals intensively with tooth-organ interrelations and is therefore an appealing alternative to traditional western medicine for many patients and dentists today.

The growing interest in a holistic approach in medicine and dental medicine is strogly related to shortfalls in these fields: the focus has always been set clearly on treating symptoms: causal research and indentification have been neglected. In addition, administration of medications almost always involves considerable side effects that stress the body. A larger number of patients no longer wish to put up with this.
Some of the known "mirrors" of our physical conditions are, for example, the skin, the eyes, the hair and finger- and toenails. The teeth even better reveal these signals from our bodies. Using electroacupuncture based on the research of Dr med. Reinhold Voll and Dr.med.dent. Fritz Kramer it was possible to prove for the firs time that individual teeth or groups of teeth are clearly related to specific organs, that they have positive and negative impacts on each other or reflect each others conditions.
Modern EAV ( Electro Acupuncture after Voll):
Dr. Reinhard Voll, was a medical doctor who brought about the use of measurements of what are known as acupuncture points.
These points were extensively researched by Voll and his students, by measuring the body points on patients with known pathological conditions and seeing what and if any correlation there was between the groups sets of measurement taken, these were then finally documented into the system as it is known today.
This is essentially how the Voll-EAV system evolved.
It is not a TCM ( Traditional Chines Medicine ) based system.
The System is a Western Medical based system with allied medical terminology, developed in Europe.
The EAV Testing also called Bio Energetic Stress Testing ( BEST ) system is capable of very simple screening techniques accessing bio-energetic data via the acupuncture meridians of the body. By measuring the electrical skin resistance at the acupuncture points on the skin of the hands and feet, a Meridian Stress Assesment can be completed.
There is an established normal range which indicates a healthy or balanced flow. If the resistance value deviates above or below the normal range, an imbalance in the meridian may be present.

Once the data has been collected your practitioner can determine which meridians need support. With the help of the software your practitioner can test for which of the remedies may be indicated in order to bring the meridian back to balance state. The B.E.S.T. system can subtly screen for many different bio-energetic signatures from its virtual library. These may include items such as viruses, parasites, metals, pesticides and many others.
There is no "hard science" to explain how this aspect of the testing works, but clinical results seem to be demonstrate efficacy.
Once the data has been analysed and the balancing signatures checked for compatibility, it is then possible for your practitioner to select the best remedy profile to strat to address the imbalances in the meridian system.
The B.E.S.T. System is used worldwide by doctors, dentists, vets, acupuncturist, and other health practitioners. In our opinion it will play an important role in health assessment as the medical sciences develope in the future.
Evaluation
The B.E.S.T. System screenings are non-invasive and are carried out by measuring the skin resistance over specific acupuncture points using a pen-like stylus.
Once the test is complete, an easy to interpret printout of the result is made available to clearly illustrate the state of balance in the body. This can provide your practitioner with good foundation data for rebalancing your health and may help with other therapies that you are receiving. |
